Method
- Place the trivet inside the Instant Pot. Add 1 cup water.
- Arrange eggs on the trivet. Lock the lid and set the valve to Sealing.

- Press the Egg button and adjust time to 1 minute on High pressure. (It may take 5 minutes to pressurize.)
- Let pressure naturally release for 2 - 4 minutes, then quick release the rest. (see notes)
- Immediately transfer eggs to a bowl of cold water and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Peel and enjoy!
Notes
Press the Egg button and adjust time to naturally release pressure based on your preferred doneness: Always test once with your Instant Pot and adjust as needed, since models and even egg sizes can make a difference.
- Soft-Boiled Eggs (runny yolk): 2 minute
- Medium Eggs (slightly jammy yolk): 3 minutes
- Hard-Boiled Eggs (fully set yolk): 4 minutes
