Ingredients
Method
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F.
- Prep salmon: Pat fillets dry with paper towel. Rub with olive oil, then season with salt, and black pepper.

- Cook: Place fillets skin-side down in the air fryer tray. Cook for ~9 minutes, depending on thickness.
- Leave the skin on until after cooking, then peel it off.
- Garnish: Sprinkle with fresh scallions after cooking. Drizzle soy sauce on top.
Notes
Cook salmon fillets with the skin on in the air fryer:
- Protects the flesh → the skin acts as a barrier so the salmon doesn’t dry out.
- Crisps up nicely → if you cook it skin-side down, the flesh cooks gently while the skin gets crisp.
- Easier to remove → once cooked, the skin will usually peel right off if you don’t want to eat it.
